The KEDDO Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves people aged sixty and older in Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, LeFlore, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and McCurtain Counties. Services are provided under the Older Americans Act of 1965 as amended and through grants from the following agencies:

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-Administration on Aging; Oklahoma Department of Human Services-Aging Services Division; and the Oklahoma State Legislature.

It is the mission of the Area Agency on Aging to develop greater capacity and foster the development and implementation of comprehensive and coordinated systems to serve older individuals. The intent is to secure and maintain maximum independence and dignity in a home environment for older individuals capable of self care with supportive services, remove individual and social barriers to economic and personal independence for older individuals; provide a continuum of care for vulnerable older individuals and to secure the opportunity for older individuals to receive managed in-home and community based long term care services.
