Outreach & Transportation Services
Nutrition Services
Legal Services

The KEDDO Area Agency on Aging currently contracts to fund the following categories of service to the elderly:

  • Nutrition (both congregate and home delivered meals),

  • Transportation,

  • Outreach,

  • Home Repair,

  • Legal Assistance,

  • Health Promotion,

  • Medication Management,

  • Nutrition Education,

  • Caregiver Access Assistance,

Technical assistance, planning, coordination, leadership, training and advocacy are also major components within the Area Agency and its projects.

The evolution of the KEDDO Area Agency on Aging from recreation, renovation, and reassurance components to true community-based array of services which still provide recreation, socialization, and reassurance to the elderly is seen by this agency as a major step in the direction of enabling the elderly, particularly the frail, minority, isolated and those with disabilities to remain more independent and in their own homes for longer periods of time.
